ORGANIZING YOUR INTERNET

Drowning in saved links?
How to finally organize your bookmarks.

Saving links is easy. Finding them again should be, too. Make room for your favorite moments, ideas, and inspiration in one place.

Save what matters.
Let us figure it out.
Find it again.
THE SHORT VERSION

Keep your links in one place, let available page details do some of the organizing, and search with the words you actually remember. A useful collection should be easy to add to and easy to return to.

A recipe on Facebook. A place to visit on Instagram. An idea from LinkedIn. A TikTok that fits your mood. You save each one because, in that moment, it feels worth keeping.

Then a few weeks pass. You remember the idea, but not who posted it. Was it in a browser tab, a message, or an app’s saved collection? Finding it again becomes a search across your whole internet.

You do not need to turn your bookmarks into another project. You need a small, repeatable way to keep the things that matter and enough context to recognize them later.

A simpler way to save and find

Think about the two moments that matter: when something catches your eye, and when you want it back. PurlNote is built to connect those moments in a private link library.

1. Drop in the link

Copy a link from a website or social app and paste it into PurlNote. Add a quick personal note if it helps: “Make this on Sunday,” “For the next trip,” or “This explains the idea I was looking for.” You can also leave the note blank and keep going.

The note does not need to summarize the page. It can capture the one thing the page cannot tell PurlNote: why it matters to you.

2. Let us figure it out

PurlNote scans the link for available details and uses AI to suggest a topic, tags, and a short summary. When a source provides a usable preview, that can help you recognize the saved item at a glance.

Some social posts and websites restrict what other services can see. If there is not enough context, a link may need review. You can open its details, add a note, or adjust the suggested topic. AI gives you a starting point; you can make it more useful.

3. Find it the way you remember it

Try a description such as “that mountain getaway,” “pasta for a weeknight,” or “graphics card performance.” PurlNote supports search by words and meaning, so you can start with the idea instead of recalling an exact title.

You can also browse by topic or source. If you remember that a post came from Instagram, use that clue to narrow the collection before searching again.

A link keeps the way back.

PurlNote does not download a permanent copy of every page or video. If the original post is removed or made private, the original content may no longer be available.

Make topics work for you

Start broad. Topics such as Food & Recipes, Travel, Technology, and Home & Design are easier to reuse than a new category for every video or article. Tags and notes can hold the finer details.

Think about the main point of the content. A video demonstrating a graphics card through basketball gameplay belongs with your technology research when hardware performance is the subject. The game is context, not necessarily the topic.

For the parts of your life that need their own space, create a custom topic and give it a clear description. That description helps PurlNote understand which links belong there.

CUSTOM TOPIC EXAMPLE

My next home project

Room layouts, lighting ideas, storage solutions, and renovation guides for updating my home.

Keep those descriptions focused on what you want to collect. A few meaningful topics can do more for you than a long list of overlapping ones.

Give your collection a fresh start

You do not have to move every old bookmark before this becomes useful. Start with a handful of links you know you want to return to.

  1. Choose a small starting set. Pick ten links from your browser, messages, or saved social posts that still matter to you.
  2. Bring them into one place. Copy and paste each link into PurlNote. Leave the rest of your backlog for another day.
  3. Add the missing context. A few words about why you saved something can be more useful than a perfect label.
  4. Check the suggestions. Review anything with limited details and adjust topics when the main idea has been missed.
  5. Try finding one again. Search using the description you would naturally give a friend. If a link is hard to recognize, improve its note.

After that, make the same collection your usual place for new finds. You can revisit your older saves gradually, keeping what still feels relevant and leaving the rest behind.

The reward is rediscovering

A saved collection can hold more than tasks to finish. It can hold the music that matched a season of your life, a moment you want to revisit, the inspiration behind a project, or a place you still hope to see.

When those things are easier to find, saving becomes more than adding to a pile. It becomes a way to return to what moved you, helped you, or simply felt like you.

Saving is collecting.
Rediscovering is the reward.

Common questions

How do I organize hundreds of saved links?

Start with the links you still care about, bring them into one collection, and use a small number of broad topics. Add short notes where context matters. PurlNote can suggest summaries, topics, and tags from available page details, so you do not have to label everything yourself.

Can I save links from different social apps in one place?

Yes. Copy a post’s link and paste it into PurlNote. You can keep links from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other websites in the same library, then browse by source. PurlNote does not automatically import your existing in-app saves.

Will every saved link have a thumbnail and an AI summary?

Not always. Some pages are private, require a login, or restrict access to their previews. PurlNote uses the information it can access and may mark a link for review when there is not enough context. You can add a note or edit its details. A saved link is a reference to the original content, not a downloaded backup.

Is PurlNote free?

The Free plan includes up to 100 saved links, 5 custom topics, AI sorting and summaries, and search by words and meaning. No credit card is needed to start. Pro is US$5 per month or US$48 billed yearly and includes 5,000 saved links, unlimited custom topics, and CSV/JSON exports. Daily AI-processing and search limits apply to both plans.

How is PurlNote different from browser bookmarks?

Browser bookmarks are useful for keeping a list of pages. PurlNote adds a searchable collection with available previews, personal notes, suggested summaries, topics, and tags. You can search by describing what you remember, or narrow your collection by topic and source.

Is my PurlNote library private?

Your library is associated with your account and is not shared with other users. PurlNote uses connected hosting, storage, and AI services to provide its features. The privacy notice explains what information those services process.
